JuneCalendar -- Massachusetts -- USA

4"x 6"Quilted Fabric Postcards
June's textile cards make use of the selvedge edge of the fabric... that little strip on the edge that gets cut off and thrown away nine times out of ten! It's interesting to see this extra information being used in such a creative and beautiful way. Thank you June for these lovely cards!

AngieCope -- Wisconsin -- USA

StephanieBlake -- Alabama -- USA

Anne Braunschweig -- NewMexico -- USA

Christine Jones -- Queensland -- AUSTRALIA

These are from a series : 'Flood Art' - the photographs were damaged by the January flood waters. A friend rescued them and Christine has been embellishing and sending them out as Mail Art in association with the group from mailart365.blogspot.com.
Take a few minutes to look over the works on that site. They are a fascinating and diverse group of artists working on a noble project: creating and sending mail art every day. Several of these artists have submitted works here as well.
There are some great pieces on their excellent site, and you'll find more of Christine's work there under the label of BrisChris.
